Our Story
Two decades leading and innovating.
Blis was founded in 2004 by our current CEO, Greg Isbister, who identified a unique market opportunity to leverage mobile, wireless technology and location intelligence to accurately target audiences for digital advertisers. Blis emerged as a result and quickly established itself as a location specialist, collaborating with the world’s largest brands to reach their audiences at moments that matter.

Over the years, as the digital advertising landscape evolved, so did Blis. Recognizing the shifting privacy environment, Blis became an architect in cookieless advertising technology. In 2021, we launched Audience Explorer, the world’s most intuitive planning platform that operates without relying on cookies or IDs. This innovation marked a significant milestone in our journey, cementing our position as leaders in geo-based advertising technology.
Drawing on two decades of expertise in location data, Blis has become a pioneer in geo-powered advertising. Our technology is built and structured on a foundation of geography rather than identity, ensuring that advertisers can plan, buy, and measure their campaigns effectively while respecting user privacy.

Meet Greg

As CEO of Blis, Greg leads our global operations with a focus on technical engineering, product strategy, financial management, talent acquisition, and international market expansion. Under his leadership, Blis has developed several patented innovations, positioning us at the forefront of the industry. With a Bachelor of Science Degree in Applied Physics from Glasgow Caledonian University and experience as a board member of the Mobile Marketing Association UK, Greg combines technical expertise with strategic vision to drive our success.

Aaron McKee is a seasoned technology executive with 25 years of experience, specializing in big data and machine learning. His career highlights include breaking web server performance records at Intel, launching the first modern local search product at Ask.com, and pioneering machine learning for dynamic content personalization at Struq. Aaron has also served as CTO for Skimlinks and Job Today, driving innovation in both consumer and business-facing marketplaces. At Blis, Aaron leverages his extensive expertise to lead our technological advancements and product development.

As CFO of Blis, Parm drives the implementation of company-wide business programs to achieve financial and operational excellence. With over 15 years of experience in the TMT sector, he has a proven track record in shaping and managing financial strategies for both blue-chip and PE/VC-backed enterprises. Parm’s leadership and commercial acumen enable him to build and lead multi-skilled teams that consistently deliver sustainable financial value.

Meet Dave

Dave drives global revenues and ensures the optimal revenue mix at Blis. With a remarkable 35-year career in media and advertising, Dave’s expertise is unparalleled. Previously, he served as MD of Exterion Media, managing a £300M turnover and leading 440 employees. He also spent 12 years as Executive Director at the Telegraph Group, led Emap Advertising as MD, and managed significant client investments at Carat. At Blis, Dave leverages his extensive experience to propel our commercial success worldwide.

As Chief Product Officer, Amy drives the creation of innovative products that delight customers and align with Blis’ financial goals. With a focus on high-level product strategy and development, Amy ensures successful market releases and leads her team to exceed expectations and push boundaries. Over her twelve-year tenure at Blis, Amy has progressed from intern to CPO, gaining comprehensive experience across ad operations and product management. Her deep understanding of the RTB landscape and commitment to privacy-first solutions positions her perfectly to lead our product evolution.
