Modern Slavery Statement

Modern Slavery Statement

Introduction:
Blis is committed to maintaining the highest standards of professional business conduct and personal ethics. This statement is made pursuant to Section 54, Part 6 of the United Kingdom’s Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps the Company (as defined below) is taking to ensure that slavery and human trafficking is not taking place in its supply chain or any part of its business (“Statement”). This Statement has been approved by the Company’s Board of Directors (“Board”).

Organisation Structure:

Blis conducts its business in the UK via Blis Global Limited (a company registered in England and Wales with Company Number 06455773 with Registered Office at 85 Great Portland Street, First Floor, London, England, W1W 7LT, referred to as “Blis” or the “Company” in this Statement). Blis has offices throughout the world and the locations can be found on Blis’ website. Blis Global Limited is the ultimate parent company of each of its wholly owned subsidiaries listed below.

  • Blis USA Inc.
  • Blis Media (Australia) Pty Ltd.
  • Valley Point India Private Limited
  • Blis Netherlands BV
  • Blis Media Pty Pte. Ltd

  • Blis Global Spain SL

Our Business:

The Company provides an online omnichannel advertising platform and related services to the world’s largest brands and media agencies. The employees of the Company are generally skilled and educated workers employed under standard contracts. All employees undergo an interview process before an offer of employment is made. We also obtain references, as appropriate, for prospective employees.

Our Supply Chains:

In relation to the Company’s supply chain, given the high tech nature of our business described above, the Company’s supply chain is ostensibly for the provision of office and IT equipment to facilitate our work environment (offices), publishers, advertising technology companies and data partners, together with professional services from law firms, accountancy firms and other professional service organisations to help our operations globally. Where our offices are not fully serviced with our Company being responsible for the cleaning and maintenance, we ensure that we work with large reputable organisations to minimise the risk.

Steps Taken To Prevent Slavery and Human Trafficking:

Blis considers that the risk of slavery or human trafficking occurring in either its own business (given the general level of education of the workforce outlined above) or in its supply chain to be negligible. Blis places obligations on its employees to act in accordance with all applicable laws and, given the assessed level of risk of modern slavery or human trafficking occurring either in its business or in its supply chain. Blis has contractual obligations in place with its supply chain partners containing provisions relating to complying with all applicable laws and regulations.

Review:

The Board of the Company will review the content of this Statement and the risk profile of Blis’ business in this area on an annual basis and, if deemed necessary, order that Blis’ internal policies/procedures are updated as appropriate pursuant to the perceived change in level of risk. If any such changes are made, the contents of this Statement will be updated accordingly.

We are committed to improving our practices to combat slavery and human trafficking anywhere within our business and supply chain. This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and was last updated on 30 September 2023.
