We are committed to integrating ESG principles into our core operations, ensuring that our growth, culture and success are aligned with sustainable, ethical, and socially responsible practices. With purposeful dedication, we craft unique initiatives that resonate with our commitment to making a difference for our employees, customers and the wider community.

Environmental commitments
and results

Science based plan: Blis has implemented a five step science-based plan to manage and reduce our carbon footprint.

SBTi: In 2022, we set a Science Based Target to reduce our Scope 1 and 2 carbon footprint by 42% by 2030 and to commit to Net Zero by 2050.

Footprint: In 2023, our total footprint was 179,481 tonnes CO2e with Scope 1 and 2 totalling 12 tonnes CO2e and Scope 3 179,470 tonnes CO2e.

Awards and recognition
Blis has been recognised as one of Campaign’s ‘Best Places to Work’ for four consecutive years (2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024). In December 2022, 2023 and 2024 Blis was also nominated as an Inclusive Workplace by Best Companies Group and COLOR Magazine, being recognised as a workplace where people feel heard, seen and as they belong.
Volunteering and CSR
We support the communities in which we operate through various efforts, such as partnerships with industry initiatives MEFA and Bloom, global CSR days and promoting volunteering opportunities for our employees.
Charitable giving

Each year, our global teams rally behind a cause close to our hearts: fundraising for Save the Children. Our partnership is more than just important; it’s a reflection of our core values and a beacon of hope for children worldwide. In 2023 we fundraised and donated to our charitable partners including Save the Children, Bloom, Brixton Finishing School, MEFA and Jeugdfonds Sport & Cultuur a total 
of £39,772.

The donations we receive from Blis enable Save the Children to do some amazing work both in the UK and globally.
No political affiliation
Blis does not make financial and in-kind contributions to political parties, politicians, lobby groups, charitable organizations and advocacy groups.

Governance and data ethics commitments and results:

  • Ethical Business Practices: Our operations are guided by a strict code of ethics that ensures integrity, transparency and accountability across the business. We regularly conduct training to uphold these standards.
  • Data privacy, security and governance: Where other companies see challenges to work around, we see opportunities to innovate and make the industry better. Blis values the consumer’s right to privacy. Our objective is to ensure that the consumer always feels in control of where and how their personal information is collected, stored and used.   • Compliance: We adhere to all applicable laws and regulations in the markets we operate in. Our policies and practices are designed to comply with global standards and regulations and are continuously updated to reflect changes in the regulatory landscape, ensuring we meet and exceed industry standards.

  • Brand safety:  Blis is dedicated to upholding a high standard of digital brand safety on our campaign delivery run on behalf of the agencies and advertisers we work with. Our approach ensures that we deliver high quality traffic across viewable and brand-safe environments. We are audited by ABC every year to maintain our TAG Brand Safety certification.
