Amsterdam, 11 May 2022 – Jeugdfonds Sport & Cultuur today announces the addition of Blis as an official media partner. Blis, the leading privacy-first, location-powered programmatic advertising partner, is supporting our work through pro-bono campaigns throughout the year to reach our target audience across the country.

In the Netherlands, 1 in 11 children and young people grow up in families with money issues –and these children miss out on the opportunity to play sports or attend other cultural activities. Jeugdfonds Sport & Cultuur believes that every child deserves the chance to take part in it and, therefore, pay for the memberships or lessons of sports clubs or cultural clubs, operating nationwide and helping over 65.000 children in 2021.

“A lot of families were affected financially during the pandemic, causing an increase in the number of applications we receive from kids who needs our help. It is crucial for us to look at new ways to help as many children as possible,” said Monique Maks, directeur Jeugdfonds Sport & Cultuur. “Blis is contributing their time, expertise and a budget of € 20.000,- for media buy-in across two of our media campaigns. This will help to optimise our campaigns to reach our target audience. We’re incredibly grateful and excited to have them on board”

In 2019, Blis has created Rise. Rise is Blis’ initiative that gives the company the chance to bring diversity into the industry to drive social change. Support and nurturing inclusion by giving young people a chance is one of the core pillars of Rise and goes directly in the same direction Jeugdfonds Sport & Cultuur  is going.

“We’re extremely proud to be Jeugdfonds Sport & Cultuur’s official media partner,” said Lucas Noordhoorn, Head of Sales Benelux and DACH at Blis. “Supporting children and young people is extremely important for Blis as a company and this partnership will allow us to help Jeugdfonds Sport & Cultuur reach children across the country. We’re ready to help them build a brilliant future for the next generations.”
