Wow, what a journey! It feels like yesterday when we raised our $19m Series B funding. That was 2016. Since then, we’ve seen our business go from strength to strength, going global and scaling the team to over 200 people.

The digital advertising industry is constantly challenged by new rules, regulations and change. Blis has spent almost two decades shaping the role of location in the evolving programmatic planning and buying landscape. And today, our future-proofed approach enables us to provide integrated planning and buying solutions via the Blis Platform to deliver highly accurate, targeted campaigns for some of the world’s biggest and most respected brands. We’ve got 18 years of experience, we’re home to 100m locations and 1,500+ location-powered audiences, enabling us to deliver the precise targeting and great results our clients know and love us for. 

And I couldn’t be prouder of our amazing team and our incredible clients and partners. 

This makes it all even more special to share the exciting news that we’ve received significant investment from LDC, the private equity arm of Lloyds Banking Group. They bring a huge amount of sector expertise across their broad portfolio, coupled with our own industry-leading technology and team, to help us accelerate our growth so we can bring our clients even more unparalleled personalised and scalable targeting, without reliance on personal data. 

In fact, right now, we continue to transform the role of location data by combining it with a huge range of rich and powerful datasets to give our clients the deepest audience understanding available through our integrated planning and buying platform. This all, at a time when understanding consumer behaviour is more challenging and important than ever before.

The way forward is continually investing in technology and people 

There will be no changes in our day-to-day operations, and LDC is backing our management team and leaders. Not only that, their investment will support our plans to accelerate global growth and double our headcount over the next few years to continue to deliver the excellent client servicing, sales and strategy our clients love!

The investment will also speed up our opportunity to drive adoption of our audience-first platform that doesn’t rely on personal data, helping you reach the right audiences at scale across every channel.
