Tell us about yourself?
I’m from Northern Ireland originally. I moved to London in 2016 where I worked in print media. Blis was my jump into the digital world in London, and last year I was given the opportunity to transfer to Blis New York to help grow the market. It’s been the best experience I could’ve asked for.
Why did you decide to join?
I wanted to delve into the technical side of things, which is exactly how my role has evolved as I have progressed. When I joined in London, Blis had just moved to a new office. They were growing quickly with a very fun start-up culture; it was an exciting movement to be a part of. As the London office grew more established it was a great challenge to then move over to New York, which was still fairly new and felt like the early days in London all over again.
What do you do at Blis?
I lead the team of technical account managers in the US. I started as a junior AM myself on the international team in London, so my role has become more technical along the way and given me invaluable managerial experience. I currently serve as the point of contact for clients on campaigns from start to finish, while also strategizing with sales on how we can provide best-in-class service and go above-and-beyond to achieve client objectives.
Best moment at Blis?
My move to New York has been my favorite experience with Blis so far, as not many people would get an international opportunity like this. I didn’t know what to expect having accepting the offer and not met the team or been to the office. It’s turned out to be the best team I could’ve asked for and I’ve made lifelong friends.
Tell us something not many people know about you?
I lived in New Zealand for a year and I can read Hebrew.
