Blis names Kaye Quema as new Asia sales head

Location data specialist Blis has appointed Kaye Quema as its new head of sales for Asia in a newly-created role.

Quema will be responsible for Blis’ regional growth and sales while working with the company’s brands and agencies. Based in Singapore, she will report to Richard Andrew, Blis’ recently-appointed managing director, Asia.

She brings more than 11 years of experience in digital advertising. She previously served as vice president for Asia-Pacific at POKKT.

Prior to that, Quema held senior positions at Yahoo South East Asia for six years, building digital products for Unilever in the Philippines and heading the sales and operations team in Indonesia.

Andrew said: “Blis has undergone a rapid expansion over the last year, growing from two to seven markets in Asia. Kaye’s role will thus be chiefly to unite our sales strategy across the various Asian markets and position Blis for our next chapter of growth. Her immense knowledge and experience with technology, and solid networks throughout Asia gives me huge confidence and we are thrilled to be working with her.”

Quema added, “Blis’ technology and culture of innovation has impressed me from day one. Having worked across many technology companies and digital media platforms in the past, I’m thrilled to work with a company that approaches its data and technology from such a fresh and exciting angle.

“There are many ad tech companies in the market and it’s a crowded space, but there are only a few like Blis who can truly offer scale and efficiency. I believe the role of movement data in brand strategy is only going to grow and I look forward to working with Richard and the team, to assert Blis’ reputation as the leader of the pack.”
