Location analytics platform Blis is rolling out the beta launch of Smart Trends, a new data and insights tool that allows marketers to analyze consumer behavior, from profiling to attribution, by capturing and activating mobile movement data.
Blis has announced a global partnership with Moat, a SaaS analytics and measurement company focused on delivering products for marketers and publishers, to measure viewability, as defined by the latest Media Rating Council (MRC) mobile guidelines for both mobile in-app and mobile web. The move also follows the IAB Australia’s launch of new viewability guidelines aimed at simplifying the landscape for advertisers.
When the dust settles on 2016, mobile ad spend is set to hit the $100bn mark. Mobile now accounts for over 50% of digital ad spend. In 2017, the prediction is that this will further increase by 33.9%, bringing mobile ad spend to $133bn and taking up 75% of digital advertising spend.
